A breathtaking film by Yılmaz Güney about honor and passion, courage and pain, tenderness and cruelty - horror, anger, strength, love - and life. YOL has not lost its relevance since the 1980s. "YOL - The Full Version" (2017) is dedicated to what the great Turkish-Kurdish actor, writer, director and producer Yılmaz Güney could not complete in his lifetime.

Massoud, a young gendarmerie sergeant, who investigates this claim encounters an exorcist attempting to rid the village of the demon. When he arrests the exorcist on charges of fraud, the villagers fear and anger escalates.

The story is set in a tiny Kurdish village. Isa’s younger brother is murdered and brought back to his hometown. Two weeks after the funeral, his mother Zîn dreams of giving a wedding celebration for her deceased son. This strange idea sparks off a host of contradictory feelings within her, and between her and Isa and family members, who are still reeling from the trauma and grief of losing a brother.

Migrating to the big city is one of the general habits of the countryside. Maybe It is also a great remedy or desperation. The film tells about life in a village at the foot of Mount Sipan. In his early youth, the protagonist Burkhan Kango had to leave the village, but he returned to his native land to make a living in his fields on the outskirts, his commitment to nature through a passion he cannot give up. This passion is the most accessible raw material of nature - soil. The beauties of an ecological life are preferred by Burhan.

It is a film documentary about a life story (biography) Ronak Murad. Ronak Murad was born in 1965 in the city of Tirbespiyê in West Kurdistan of Rojava. Initially trained in the Syrian state, she moved to Aleppo to study at a university. During her university years, she became acquainted with the freedom struggle and became involved in guerrilla warfare. The years that followed were continued with both her own militant struggle and writing ten books of novels.

Casimê Celîl was born into a Yezidi Kurdish family in 1908, in a village called Kizilkule, located in Digor, Kars. The village and family life, which he longed to remember throughout his life, ends with the massacre they lived in 1918. During his long road to Erivan, Armenia, he lost all his family members. Left all alone in the city of Erivan, Casim was placed in an orphanage and was forced to change his name. To remember who he was and where he came from, he repeated the mantra “My name is Casim, I am the son of Celîl, I come from the village of Kizilkule in Digor I am a Kurd, and I am Yezidi”.

The father was killed, the family was left without a breadwinner, so the child was forced to leave the family and work in Erbil in order to be able to support the family.
